Moscow Kremlin

The Kremlin is the oldest part of ancient Moscow that still remains. The fortress was first time mentioned in 1147, and since that Moscow is strongly associated with these walls and towers, despite the fact that it was rebuilt several times. Its meaning also wasn’t unchangeable through centuries – nowadays Kremlin is the synonym for Russia’s president official residence, but only a century ago it was only a museum. Two thirds of its territory are now closed to visitors, but the remaining part still grabs the attention from tourists from all over the world.
